Job summary

Providence Newberg Medical Center in Newberg, OR is seeking a full-time MRI Technologist for a day shift schedule consisting of three 12-hour shifts (Fri-Sun). A $6,000 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible external candidates who meet all conditions.

You will perform MRI exams, follow physician orders, and ensure patient safety and comfort while delivering high-quality images. Required licenses/certifications include Oregon MRI license or temporary license, BLS, ARRT MRI or equivalent credential

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Oregon MRI Technologist license upon hire or temporary license upon hire.
• BLS certification upon hire.
• ARRT MRI certification within 6 months of hire.
• New graduates must obtain OBMI temporary license and permanent license within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs Magnetic Resonance examinations according to physician orders.
• Maintains patient safety, comfort and imaging quality during procedures.

Education

Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License upon hire.

Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist Temporary License upon hire.

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire.

National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists within 6 months (180 days) of hire.

OBMI temporary license for new graduates with permanent license within 6 months of hire.
