Job summary

Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR is hiring an MRI Technologist for a full-time evening shift. The role performs MRI examinations per physician orders using advanced MRI equipment, with attention to patient-specific needs to ensure high-quality images.

A $6,000 sign-on bonus is offered for eligible external candidates who meet payment conditions. Required qualifications include Oregon MRI Technologist license or temporary license upon hire, OBMI temporary license for new grads

Qualifications

• License to practice MRI in Oregon is required.
• Temporary license accepted upon hire; permanent license within 6 months.
• New grads must obtain OBMI temporary license and acquire permanent license within 6 months.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association is required at hire.
• Within 6 months, ARRT or National Certification MRI must be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI examinations according to physician orders.
• Uses MRI equipment and accounts for patient age and needs to produce high-quality images.
• Maintains safety and comfort for patients during imaging.

Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License

Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist Temporary License

OBMI temporary license (for new grads)

American Heart Association BLS (National Provider)

ARRT National Certification in Radiology or MRI
