Job summary

Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR is seeking an MRI Technologist for a full-time evening shift. A $6,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment, in addition to the benefits package.

The MRI Tech will perform MRI exams, follow physician orders, and tailor imaging to patient needs to ensure high-quality results. Comprehensive Providence benefits begin on day one.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Upon hire: Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist License or Oregon Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist Temporary License.
• New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Within 6 months: National Certification from ARRT or National Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT.

Responsibilities

• Performs Magnetic Resonance examinations according to physician orders.
• Uses knowledge of imaging factors, technique and patient needs to produce optimal images.

OBMI temporary license

ARRT MRI Technologist certification (within 6 months)
