Job summary

Nebraska Health Imaging is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our outpatient imaging team in Omaha. This role focuses on delivering high-quality diagnostic MRI services in a patient-centered environment with flexible full-time and part-time shifts.

The MRI Technologist will work under the Radiology Medical Director, performing routine to complex MRI procedures while ensuring safety, documentation, and excellent patient experiences. Opportunities for growth and a collaborative team await.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of routine to complex MRI procedures and protocols
• Strong communication and patient-care skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, and multitask
• Computer proficiency, including imaging, medical record, and digital archiving systems

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols and physician orders
• Review patient history and orders to ensure the appropriate examination is performed
• Position patients and select appropriate pulse sequences and imaging parameters
• Evaluate images for technical quality
• Provide education and reassurance to patients throughout the examination
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and digital image records
