Job summary

BJC HealthCare, within Alton Memorial Hospital, is seeking an MRI Technologist for full-time day shifts. The role includes 12-hour shifts, a three-day workweek, and a rotating call schedule (every 5th weekend). A sign-on bonus of $5,000 is available for eligible applicants.

Candidates must be registered RT(R) or MRI registered. This role is based at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, IL, part of the BJC HealthCare system, with opportunities for cross-training in MRI.

Qualifications

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in advanced imaging modalities (MRI, CT, Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac) on adults/pediatrics.
• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Education: Associate or Trade School equivalent; Licenses & Certifications include relevant imaging credentials.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other sites as required.
• Maintains image quality and safety standards while performing diagnostic imaging.
