Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Health Florence Medical Center is seeking a full-time MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures under the Radiologist and Radiology Director. The role emphasizes patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging, with ARRT and MRI certification required or obtainable within 6 months.

The position may require 3–5 years of MRI experience, strong communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved and accredited A.R.R.T. program.
• Graduate of an approved and accredited MRI program.
• 3–5 years of MRI experience preferred.
• ARRT MR certification or eligibility within 6 months; CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures according to ACR, ARRT, and departmental policies.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Operate and troubleshoot MRI equipment.
• Coordinate with Radiologist and Radiology Director; maintain documentation and quality standards.
