The Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI) at Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) provides high-quality MRI examinations under supervision, following established protocols to support physician interpretation. You will ensure image quality, patient safety, and efficient workflow across sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited school of imaging.
• Experience: 1+ years in general MRI exams; rotate to other locations as needed for training.
• Registration: ARRT MRI or ARMRIT eligibility; registry within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations following protocols with attention to image quality, safety, and workflow.
• Complete patient screening, exam documentation, and image verification in RIS and PACS.
• Maintain high standards of image quality, productivity, and patient throughput.
• Deliver safe, compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the imaging process.
• Adhere to MRI safety protocols and compliance requirements.
