Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• ARRT (R) registration required.
• ARMRIT registration within 1 year if not already.
• Licensure from SC Radiation Quality Standards Association required.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/Red Cross accepted).

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations on patients of all ages.
• Operate MRI equipment safely to obtain diagnostic images.
• Utilize MRI resources and protocols to ensure accurate imaging.
• Prepare and educate patients for MRI procedures.
• Adhere to MRI safety and infection control standards.
• Monitor patients and respond to needs during examinations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses and staff.
• Ensure maintenance and quality control of MRI equipment and areas.
• Perform additional duties to support department operations.
