Job summary

Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital in Boston is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI studies, prepare patients, position, set imaging parameters, acquire images, and conduct quality assurance.

ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification is required within one year of hire. You will work with radiologists and nurses, operate EMR, PACS, and dose calculators, and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.

Qualifications

• Medical Imaging certificate or diploma required; Associate's degree preferred.
• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification strongly preferred; within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans for ambulatory/outpatient patients with high diagnostic quality.
• Prepare patients, position, set imaging parameters, acquire images; perform QA scans.
• Educate patients on MRI safety and respond to equipment-related emergencies.
