Responsibilities

Job Summary

20k sign-on Bonus! Hours for this opening are: Saturday 7:00am - 7:30pm, Sunday 7:00am - 7:30pm, Monday 10:00am - 10:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Follow all proper policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety at all times.
• Inform the patient of all aspects of their exam at their level of understanding.
• Ensure the patient is cleared of all contraindications and hazards.
• Accurately position the patient and ensure their comfort.
• Maintain visual and verbal contact with the patient during the exam.
• Perform scans in accordance with the center’s protocol.
• Administer intravenous contrast.
• Complete all forms pertaining to the patient’s exam.
• Record patient data in the Tech Data Entry program.
• Provide and issue films/CD when appropriate.
• Forward data and/or films/CD to the Radiologist upon completion of exam.
• Assist clerical staff as circumstances arise.
• Clean and re-supply equipment and rooms as needed.
• Adhere to all necessary training/licenses based on the credentialing policy.

Qualifications

• Prior MRI scanning experience.
• MRI/ARRT/CPR certifications.
• Fantastic interpersonal skills.
• ARMRIT certification accepted at some locations.
• Ability to sit and utilize a computer for extended periods of time.
• Ability to assist patients with mobility difficulties.
• Availability to participate in a call schedule/rotation at some inpatient locations.
• Physical ability to push, pull, and lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds.

Compensation

Pay range: $40-$60 per hour + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
