Mass Bay Regional MRI, LP is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. The ideal candidate will provide professional care in a fast-paced clinical environment while adhering to all safety protocols.

Responsibilities include performing scans, ensuring patient safety, and administering contrast. Qualifications include prior MRI experience and relevant certifications. Compensation ranges from $40 to $60 per hour, based on skills and experience.

Qualifications

• Meet physical requirements with or without accommodation.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds.
• Ability to sit and utilize a computer for extended periods.

Job Summary

Shields Health Care Group’s MRI Technologists support the integrity of the organization with their commitment to excellence. The MRI technologist will provide a professional, caring atmosphere to all customer groups, while maintaining a fast‑paced, multi‑tasked oriented clinical environment. We are looking for individuals to join our team on a per diem basis.

Responsibilities

• Follow all proper policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety at all times.
• Inform the patient of all aspects of their exam to their level of understanding.
• Ensure patient is cleared of all contraindications and hazards.
• Accurately position the patient and ensure their comfort.
• Maintain visual and verbal contact with the patient during the exam.
• Perform scan in accordance to center’s protocol.
• Administer intravenous contrast.
• Complete all forms pertaining to patient’s exam.
• Record patient data to Tech Data Entry program.
• Provide and issue films/CD when appropriate.
• Forward data and/or films/CD to Radiologist upon completion of exam.
• Assist clerical staff as circumstances arise.
• Clean and re‑supply equipment and rooms as needed.
• Adhere to all necessary training/licenses based on the credentialing policy.

Qualifications and Requirements

Compensation and Benefits

Pay range: $40–$60 per hour + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
