Job summary

Akumin is hiring an MRI Technologist at our Corinth facility for a full-time role. You will ensure patient safety, perform high-quality MR studies, and collaborate with radiologists and staff on-site or in mobile environments. Training and onboarding of new technologists may be required.

Requirements include ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT, CPR, and a High School diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s degree is preferred. Competitive benefits and a $2,500 sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification as allowable by contract.
• Valid state driver’s license if applicable; CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and pre-screening for contraindications.
• Produce high quality MR images and operate MR systems.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, staff and patients.
• Train/ orient new technologists and assistants as needed.
• Possibly work on-site or remote in a mobile environment.
