Job summary

Akumin is hiring an MRI Technologist at our Kirkman facility to perform high-quality MR studies with emphasis on patient safety. The role may involve on-site and remote work, collaboration with radiologists, and training new technologists and coordinators as needed.

Qualified candidates will hold ARRT MR or ARRT R (or ARMRIT), CPR certification, and state licensing if required. A sign-on bonus of $2,500 is offered along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ARRT(R) (MR) or ARMRIT as allowable by contract in lieu of ARRT.
• CPR certification; license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety and perform high-quality MR studies on-site and/or remotely.
• Operate multiple MR systems as required to produce diagnostic images.
• Communicate effectively with radiologists, patients and team members to address concerns and resolve issues.
• Train and orient new technologists, patient coordinators and MR Technologist Assistants.
