Position Overview

Perform routine and specialized Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures to produce quality images for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease. Work independently with sound judgment and clinical skills to execute safe, precise procedures, delivering accurate results timely. Gain patient confidence through competent assessment, monitoring, and communication. Adhere to all regulations and policies to ensure safety and privacy. May also perform specific procedures or help orient staff.

Education

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
• OR Graduate from an accredited Magnetic Resonance Program

Certification & Licensure

• CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist
• OR ARMRIT-Certified MRI Technologist
• OR ARRT (MRI) - Radiography
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

Experience

• 5 years recent relevant experience

Skills and Knowledge

• Knowledge of MRI principles, procedures, and equipment, including trauma response
• Ability to perform routine MRI exams and understand anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Effective communication skills for diverse audiences
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency with computer applications and healthcare information systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Problem-solving skills and ensuring patient privacy
• Ability to build collaborative relationships

Work Schedule

Day/Evening shifts, Per Diem/Casual, 8-hour shifts, variable days, every weekend requirement.
