Job description

**Responsibilities**

The CT/Radiologic Technologist is responsible for understanding their professional scope of practice as defined by the California Business and Professional Code and successfully completing the Dignity Health Medical Foundation orientation, demonstrating skills and behaviors that meet a fully competent performance level.

Technologists maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment, and perform patient care services supporting the physician/provider's practice under supervision. This includes assisting in preparing patients for CT and X-ray examinations, relaying instructions from radiologists, collecting patient data, documenting concerns, messages, and care provided in the medical record for radiologist review, and performing diagnostic medical imaging.

May be required to work in other modalities with appropriate licensure and occasionally at other locations within the Greater Sacramento Area as needed.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Qualifications:**

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of a formal AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent.
  • California CRT license.
  • AHA BLS certification.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, operation and care of radiologic equipment, and radiation safety.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • One year of experience as a CT/Radiologic Technologist (preferred).
  • Six months of outpatient experience (preferred).
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, electronic practice management systems, and PACS (preferred).

**Pay Range**

$38.81 - $56.28 per hour
