Job summary

Vetted Solutions is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. You will ensure patient safety, optimize imaging protocols, and maintain quality of images.

The role includes supervising students and healthcare staff, applying ALARA principles, and supporting interventional procedures and post-processing activities.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification (or equivalent) is required.
• Graduate of a Radiologic Technology training program; Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Proficiency in MRI procedures, safety practices, and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and ensure patient safety following ALARA principles.
• Prepare and administer medications through vascular access as prescribed, and evaluate image quality and proper positioning.
• Assist with magnetic resonance interventional procedures and support data transfer and post-processing.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, applying safety principles to minimize risks.
• Select pulse sequences based on protocols, demonstrate proficiency in routine and complex tasks, and participate in quality improvement activities.
