Alpha Home Health and Hospice is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging to aid in diagnosis and treatment. You will independently operate MRI equipment, prepare and administer medications as prescribed, and evaluate imaging data for quality.

Responsibilities include verifying patient identity, applying safety protocols, selecting imaging protocols, and supporting interventional procedures while educating staff and students.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Radiologic Technology Specialty Training Program (required).
• ARRT and ARRT-MR, ARMRIT, or NMTCB with ARRT-MR certification preferred.
• Proficiency in routine and complex MRI procedures and safety principles.

Responsabilités

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, document clinical history.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize factors, ensure patient safety.
• Prepare and administer medications via vascular access when prescribed.
• Evaluate image quality and assist with post-processing.
• Educate and monitor healthcare team members and students.
• Apply safety principles to minimize MRI risks.
• Assist licensed practitioners with MRI interventions and procedures.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and demonstrate proficiency.

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging to aid in diagnosis, therapy, or research. They independently operate MRI equipment, prepare and administer medications as prescribed, and analyze imaging data for accuracy and quality. Key duties include verifying patient identity, ensuring safety protocols, selecting appropriate imaging protocols, and optimizing technical parameters while adhering to ALARA principles. They also evaluate images, assist with interventional procedures, and educate students and healthcare providers. Commitment to quality, safety, and organizational priorities is essential.

Qualifications & Skills

• Certification by ARRT and ARRT-MR, ARMRIT, or NMTCB with ARRT-MR
• Graduate from a Radiologic Technology Specialty Training Program (required); Bachelor's preferred
• Proficiency in routine and complex MRI procedures, safety principles, and data management
• Ability to evaluate images, administer medications, and assist with interventional procedures
• Strong knowledge of magnetic resonance safety, patient care, and technical optimization
