We are seeking a highly skilled and flexible MRI Technologist to join our team for a 16-week travel assignment at a leading healthcare facility. As an MRI Technologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using MRI technology, ensuring patient comfort and safety, while adhering to facility protocols. You must have prior experience working with Philips MRI systems, be proficient in Epic EMR, and have a strong background in teaching hospital environments. Flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to varying schedules are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging exams on patients according to established protocols and procedures.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during MRI procedures.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring optimal function and performance.
• Document patient history and related information accurately within the Epic EMR system.
• Collaborate with physicians and other medical staff to obtain diagnostic results.
• Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures.
• Assist with patient education regarding MRI procedures and safety precautions.

Requirements

• Licensure/Certifications:
• ARRT (MRI) or ARMRIT certification required
• MR Advanced Licensure required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Experience:
• Minimum of 1 year MRI Tech experience
• Prior experience with Philips MRI systems is required
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (non-negotiable)
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Prior travel experience is highly preferred
• Skills:
• Strong technical proficiency in MRI procedures
• Excellent interpersonal and patient care skills
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment
