Surgical Technologist - Raleigh & Panther Creek

Department: Surgery Center - Raleigh and Panther Creek Offices

Full-Time Position - Raleigh and Panther Creek Office Locations

Schedule: Monday through Friday - No Nights, Holidays or Weekends.

The surgical technologist, under the guidance of the OR Clinical Manager, is responsible for the care and safety of the patients who come under his or her care. The surgical technologist is responsible for ensuring effective communication between him/herself, the circulating nurse, the patient, other staff, and physicians. By anticipating the needs of the surgeon, the surgical technologist provides assistance while maintaining an aseptic and safe surgical environment.

The surgical technologist also assists in performing activities of sterile processing in preparation and distribution of sterile supplies and equipment for use in the care and treatment of patients. This position provides support with room turnover and assists in preference card updates and case picking.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Must have graduated from a Surgical Technologist program.
  2. Experience in orthopedics preferred.
  3. CPR Certification required.

Compensation: Ranges from $23 to $33 an hour.
