Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform routine and specialized MRI procedures in the department. The role includes on-call responsibilities, training new staff, and maintaining advanced MRI credentials as per ARRT/ARMRIT guidelines.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 2 years relevant experience, and an accredited radiologic technology program with MRI training. BLS, ARRT MRI or ARMRIT certifications are required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and special MRI procedures.

• On-call technologist duties and training of new staff.
• Maintains MRI specialty credentialing as per ARRT/ARMRIT guidelines.

General Summary

Performs routine and special magnetic resonance imaging procedures. Performs procedures to produce MR images of designated anatomical areas according to established practices and procedures. Performs duties as on call technologist, is able to train new staff, and has passed the MRI advanced level specialty exam as per ARRT.

Qualifications

Minimum Education

• High School Diploma or GED Required

Work Experience

• 2 years Relevant experience. Required

Licenses

• Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
• Registered Technologist-Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) - ARRT Upon Hire Required or
• Certified MRI Technologist - ARMRIT Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training

• Accredited program in radiologic technology and training in MRI procedures. Upon Hire Required
