Trinity Health MI is seeking an MRI Technologist in Pontiac, MI, to operate the MRI scanner and perform advanced imaging procedures. You will obtain high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation and adjust protocols based on anatomy and pathology.
The role requires strong MRI/MRA knowledge and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a rotating shift, part-time schedule. Requirements include an MRI program completion, high school diploma or GED, and ARRT registry with MRI
The MRI Technologist will operate the magnetic resonance scanner. He/she will perform a variety of complex anatomical imaging procedures. The MRI technologist will obtain quality images for diagnostic interpretation by the physician. He/she will adjust scanning protocols based on the anatomy/pathology presented during scanning. This individual will be expected to demonstrate an advanced functional knowledge of MRI/MRA and related clinical indicators for procedures to be performed. The MRI technologist will perform and direct exams to the appropriate conclusion in the absence of a physician by utilizing advanced skills in cross sectional anatomy. He/she must be self‑motivated, use independent judgement and be able to work with a minimum supervision.

One To Two Years MRI Technologist Experience Is Preferred.
Must have advanced analytical skills necessary to acquire and then effectively utilize the knowledge of magnetic resonance imaging and magnetic resonance angiography and methods to aide the diagnosis of disease.
Must have advanced understanding of cross sectional anatomy in order to obtain the highest quality images possible.
