Job summary

Frisbie Memorial Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an MRI Technologist at our Rochester, NH location. You will perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures, explain the procedure to patients, and address questions to ensure accurate, high-quality imaging.

Qualifications include ARRT-MR or ARMRIT registration, BCLS within 30 days, 2 years of MRI experience preferred, and graduation from an accredited radiologic or MRI program. On-call duties may be required.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Two years’ experience as MRI technologist in a hospital environment preferred
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or accredited MRI program preferred

• Identify anatomical orientation on all required images and ensure proper film identification
• Evaluate quality of MRI procedure and determine if additional imaging is required
• Participate in on-call duties as assigned to meet department needs

Job Summary

As an MRI Technologist, you would perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures, by utilizing MRI equipment and your knowledge of anatomy/patient positioning for optimum imaging. You would explain the procedure to the patient and address any questions or concerns he or she may have.

• Perform MRI examinations with proper contrast media protocols.
• You will identify anatomical orientation on all required images and ensures proper film identification.
• Evaluate quality of MRI procedure and determines if additional imaging is required, prior to communicating procedure information to radiologist.
• Participate in on-call duties as assigned to meet department needs.

What qualifications you will need:

• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT Registered
