Description: Top Client in need of MRI Technologist.
Job Summary and Qualifications:
The MRI Technologist performs technical procedures, applying magnetic resonance imaging and ionizing radiation (Radiographer) for the purpose of detecting pathology. Regulates equipment used to produce the magnetic image and expose the x-ray image as well as process and organize the image in PACS.
Education Requirements:
Associate Degree or equivalent in Radiological Technology required.
Knowledge of: Cross-sectional anatomy and MRI concepts to include head, neck, body, MSK, spine and MRI imaging.
Experience Requirements:
1 year minimum MRI experience required; 3 years MRI experience preferred.
Certification/Licensure Requirements:
FL State Registered Radiologic Technician License.
ARRT (MR) Required.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
Shifts: Evenings, Nights and Weekend days schedules.
