The MRI Technologist performs age-specific MRI procedures for diagnosis and treatment of anatomical and physiological disorders. Competencies are based on patient age groups, including infancy, toddler, pre-school, school age, adolescence, early adulthood, middle adult, late adult, and geriatric. The MRI/CT/Radiologic Technologist reports to the Manager of Diagnostic Procedures (CT/MRI) and is responsible for core behavioral and technical competencies. Technical supervision is provided by the Manager, Diagnostic Procedures, and medical direction by the Radiologist. This position involves 12-hour shifts with rotating Saturdays.
Must be able to sit, use hands, communicate effectively, and have close vision for reading and computer work. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 25 pounds frequently, and over 50 pounds occasionally. Work environment includes good lighting, climate control, and moderate noise levels.
