About Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital

Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital has proudly served residents across Southeast Michigan since 1953. With 632 beds, it is a major teaching and research hospital, home to five residency programs and a cardiology fellowship in partnership with Wayne State University School of Medicine. The hospital is verified as a Level II trauma center and accredited as a primary stroke center by the Joint Commission. It is known for clinical excellence and innovation in orthopedics, neurosciences, women’s health, heart and vascular, and cancer care.

Scope of Work

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, performs diagnostic MRI exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment and techniques. Follows Beaumont philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography program.
• 1-3 years of clinical experience beyond staff radiographer level.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, RT (R) (MR). Additional MR certification required within 1 year of hire. Must remain in good standing with the ARRT. Technologists certified before 2008 are exempt from additional modality certification.
• Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association.

Hours: 8 or 10 hours, weekdays/weekends, variable weekends
