Job summary

Akumin is hiring an MRI Technologist for our Dennison, Ohio location. You will perform MR imaging with a focus on patient comfort, safety, and high-quality results. The role involves collaboration with radiologists and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.

The position requires ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS registration, state licensure as required, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license. A supportive benefits package is offered to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current ARRT/NMTCB/ARDMS registration.
• State license, as required for the position.
• CPR certification is required.
• Valid driver's license in the relevant jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Patient Safety, including pre-screening for contraindications, aseptic technique, etc.
• Produces high-quality diagnostic images.
• Orders supplies, cleans unit, and assists in preparing for transport daily.
• Effectively communicates with customers and radiologists.
• Trains new technologists and/or PC's.

We are currently hiring for a MRI Technologist at our Dennison, Ohio location.

Our MRI technologists use exceptional communication skills to connect with patients, explain the procedure and put them at ease. With a caring attitude and keen attention to detail, they ensure patient comfort, safety and satisfaction every step of the way.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for Patient Safety, including pre-screening for contra-indications, aseptic injection technique, etc.

• Produces high-quality diagnostic images.

• Orders supply, cleans unit, assist in preparing for transport on a daily basis.

• Effectively communicates with customers and/or radiologists.

• Trains new technologist and/or PC's

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience

• Registered Technologists by the ARRT, NMTCB or ARDMS

• State License, as required.

• Technologists performing mid-day moves

• CPR certification.

• Active state driver’s license.

Preferred Requirements:

• Associate's degree or Equivalent Experience

• Registry in Magnetic Resonance by the ARRT.
