Job summary

Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, MO seeks an MRI Technologist to perform routine and specialized MRI and present images to the Radiologist for a final report.

Schedule: Tuesday-Friday, 11:30am–9:30pm; on-call includes weeknights, weekends, and Friday nights as described.

Qualifications: Accredited Radiology Technology program graduate; ARRT registered; MR preferred or eligible within 1 year and registered within 6 months; BCLS within 30 days; 2–3 years MRI experience preferred.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The MRI Technologist performs routine and specialized magnetic resonance imaging of organs, organ systems and blood flow studies. The MRI Tech presents images and patient information/history to the Radiologist so that a comprehensive diagnostic report is available to referring physician.

Schedule:

Tuesday-Friday, 11:30am-9:30pm.

Call requirement:

1 weeknight every 2 weeks, every 10th weekend (Sat/Sun 24 hours of call), and every 16th Friday night

What you will do in this role:

What qualifications you will need:

Graduate of an accredited school or college with certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.

• American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT) registered.
• ARRT MR preferred upon hire or must become registry eligible for ARRT MR within 1 year of hire and must complete registry within the 6 months following.
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
• 2-3 years MRI experience preferred.
