Job summary

Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH, is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures using state-of-the-art MRI equipment and apply anatomy and patient positioning knowledge to obtain high-quality images.

You will explain the procedure to patients, address questions, participate in on-call rotations, and ensure accurate image identification and communication with radiologists.

Qualifications

  • BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
  • ARRT-MR or ARMRIT MR certification required.
  • Associate degree required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI examinations with proper protocols.
  • Identify anatomical orientation on images and ensure proper film identification.
  • Evaluate image quality and determine if additional imaging is needed with radiologist coordination.
  • Participate in on-call duties as assigned.

Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a(an) MRI Technologist for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Did you get into our industry for these reasons? As an MRI Tech, you would perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures, by utilizing MRI equipment and your knowledge of anatomy/patient positioning for optimum imaging. You would explain the procedure to the patient and address any questions or concerns he or she may have.

  • Perform MRI examinations with proper contrast media protocols.
  • You will identify anatomical orientation on all required images and ensures proper film identification.
  • Evaluate quality of MRI procedure and determines if additional imaging is required, prior to communicating procedure information to radiologist.
  • You would participate in on-call duties as assigned to meet department needs.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • (MRT) Magnetic Resonance Technologist
  • Associate Degree
  • (ARRT-MR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or (ARMRIT) American Registry of MRI Technologists
