Job summary

Diagnostic Imaging Centers of Texas (DICOT) seeks an MRI Technologist in El Paso to perform high-quality MRI scans in an outpatient setting. You will prepare and position patients, operate MRI equipment, and ensure comfort and safety while following established protocols.

Collaborate with radiologists and clinic staff to maintain workflow, document exams in PACS/RIS, and educate patients to reduce anxiety. ARR T MR certification required or eligible, with a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• ARRT (MR) certification or eligibility required.
• Experience in outpatient MRI setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient-focused mindset and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with physician orders and protocols.
• Prepare and position patients to ensure comfort and safety during procedures.
• Operate MRI equipment and monitor imaging quality for diagnostic accuracy.
• Educate and communicate with patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation.
• Accurately document exams and maintain records in PACS/RIS systems.
