Job summary

Johns Hopkins Imaging at Columbia is currently searching for an MRI Technologist to join our elite Radiology team. As an MRI tech you will perform magnetic resonance imaging of organs, orient physicians, residents and students in imaging objectives, and provide patients with an excellent experience.

This role offers a 40-hour evening shift (2:00pm–10:30pm), Thursday through Sunday, at the new Wilde Lake Location, with state-of-the-art equipment and dedicated imaging educators.

Qualifications

• AMA approved Radiology Technology program OR MRI technical program.
• ARMRIT certification OR ARRT credentialed with current registration.
• CPR certification within three (3) months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform magnetic resonance imaging of organs.
• Orient physicians, residents and students in imaging objectives.
• Provide patients with an excellent experience.

Education

Job description

As part of the Johns Hopkins Healthcare System, you will experience a range of patient demographics and conditions and work closely with radiologists and other clinicians in providing patient care using the latest equipment, software and protocols.

Our practice of team-centered patient care means that you will be collaborating regularly with a group of highly engaged imaging technical educators, nurses, radiologists and other staff. There are dedicated radiology clinical support teams to manage scheduling appointments, equipment maintenance, and other patient care needs. Teaching opportunities are available with our radiology assistants, students from the Schools of Medical Imaging, as well as learning opportunities across modalities for all technologists.

Minimum Qualifications:

Salary Range:

Minimum $42.33/hour - Maximum $69.88/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
