BayCare Health System's MRI team is seeking an MRI Technologist at Morton Plant in Clearwater. You will perform diagnostic and invasive MRI procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort and image quality while coordinating with radiologists and staff.

The role requires an AS degree in radiology or technical radiology, BLS and ARRT MRI credentials (or ARMRIT within 1 year), and MRI-specific training. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with daytime hours.

• Associate of Science degree in Radiology or Technical Radiology.
• BLS and ARRT Radiology credentials, or ARMRIT MRI credential within 1 year of hire.
• 1 year MRI-specific training required.

Responsabilités

• Performs diagnostic and invasive MRI procedures.
• Manages RIS data and patient records.
• Assists physicians and transports patients as needed.
• Performs file room and general clerical duties related to imaging.

Summary: Performs diagnostic and invasive magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures. Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, radiology information system (RIS) data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary.

Required Education: Associate of Science degree or Associates Radiology or Technical Radiology.

Required Credentials: BLS and ARRT (Radiology Technologist) – Relevant Specialty or ARMRIT (MRI) within 1 year of hire or transfer into job. Required Experience: With an Associate in Science degree, 1 year of MRI specific training required. If an Associates in Radiology or Technical Radiology, 1 year of Radiology or MRI required.
