Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MR procedures and support imaging patient care at St Josephs North. The role includes RIS data management, file room duties, clerical tasks, physician assistance, patient transportation and related responsibilities on a part-time, weekend schedule.

This position requires an Associate degree in Radiology, ARRT credentialing, and BLS. The successful candidate will work Saturdays and Sundays, with shifts that vary, and will

Qualifications

• Education: AS or related Radiology associate degree.
• Credentials: BLS and ARRT (Radiology Technologist) or ARMRIT (MRI) within 1 year of hire.
• Experience: 1 year MRI training with AS in Radiology; or 1 year Radiology/MRI with Radiology degree.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MR procedures.
• Manage RIS data and imaging records.
• Handle file room and clerical tasks.
• Assist physicians and transport patients.

Summary

Performs diagnostic magnetic resonance (MR) procedures. Responsible for imaging patient care, radiology information system (RIS) data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

Required

Education: Associate of Science degree or Associates Radiology or Technical Radiology.

Credentials: BLS and ARRT (Radiology Technologist) – Relevant Specialty or ARMRIT (MRI) within one year of hire or transfer into job.

Experience: With an Associate in Science degree, 1 year of MRI specific training required. If an Associates in Radiology or Technical Radiology, 1 year of Radiology or MRI required.
