Job summary

BayCare Health System in Bartow is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic and invasive MRI procedures, manage RIS data, and support file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation and related duties.

Requires an Associate degree in Radiology, BLS and ARRT (Radiology Technologist) or ARMRIT within 1 year, and at least 1 year of MRI-specific training. This is a full-time, on-site position with potential weekend work and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• MRI procedure experience required; 1 year MRI training minimum.
• Associate degree in radiology or related field preferred; ARRT/ARMRIT credentials within 1 year.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and invasive MRI procedures and manage RIS data.
• Support file room, general clerical tasks, physician assistance and patient transport as needed.
• Collaborate with radiology team to ensure quality imaging and patient safety.

Summary:

Performs diagnostic and invasive magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures. Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, radiology information system (RIS) data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary.
