Job summary

BayCare Health System in Tampa is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic and invasive MRI procedures at BayCare's St Joseph's Main and Children's campuses. This full-time, non-exempt position requires an AS degree in Radiology, BLS, ARRT or ARMRIT credentials within 1 year, and MRI-specific training.

You will handle RIS data, file room duties, general clerical tasks, physician assistance, patient transportation, and related duties, with an evening shift 11:30 PM–9:00 PM and

• Associate degree in Radiology or related field.
• BLS certification and ARRT (Radiology Technologist) with relevant specialty or ARMRIT within 1 year.
• 1 year of MRI-specific training or experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and invasive MRI procedures.

• Assist physicians and support patient transport and clerical tasks.

Summary:

Performs diagnostic and invasive magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures. Responsible for all duties related to imaging patient care, radiology information system (RIS) data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required Education: Associate of Science degree or Associates Radiology or Technical Radiology.

Required Credentials: BLS and ARRT (Radiology Technologist) – Relevant Specialty or ARMRIT (MRI) within 1 year of hire or transfer into job.

Required Experience: With an Associate in Science degree, 1 year of MRI specific training required. If an Associates in Radiology or Technical Radiology, 1 year of Radiology or MRI required.
