Job summary

BayCare Health System in Florida is seeking an MRI Technologist-Outpt to perform diagnostic MR procedures and support patient care. This role includes RIS data management, clerical duties, and assisting physicians.

The position is part-time with weekend shifts (Sat/Sun, 9a–7p) at our St Josephs North site in Lutz, FL. Candidates should have an AS Radiology degree and BLS/ARRT or ARMRIT credentials within one year of hire.

Qualifications

• An AS degree in Radiology or equivalent required.
• BLS and ARRT/ARMRIT credentials within one year of hire.
• MRI-specific training or radiology experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MR procedures.
• Manage RIS data and patient imaging records.
• Assist physicians and transport patients as needed.
• Handle file room and general clerical duties.

Summary

Performs diagnostic magnetic resonance (MR) procedures. Responsible for imaging patient care, radiology information system (RIS) data management, file room, general clerical, physician assistance, patient transportation and other related duties as necessary.

Required Education

Associate of Science degree or Associates Radiology or Technical Radiology.

Required Credentials

BLS and ARRT (Radiology Technologist) – Relevant Specialty or ARMRIT (MRI) within one year of hire or transfer into job.

Required Experience

With an Associate in Science degree, 1 year of MRI specific training required. If an Associates in Radiology or Technical Radiology, 1 year of Radiology or MRI required.
