Job description

Schedule: Sunday, Monday and Tuesday 12 hour shifts.

Pay Range: $33.50-$43.00, based on experience.

Main Function:

• Provides high-quality test results with a minimum of supervision.
• Coordinates these services within& outside Thompson Health to meet& exceed needs& expectations of our customers.
• Actively supports the mission, goals, and objectives of UR MedicineThompson Health.

Required Job Specific Competencies:

• Demonstrates the ability to work independently and exhibits flexibility in decision making and prioritizing assignments.
• Demonstrates the ability to develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with fellow MRI and DI staff.
• Actively guards the confidentiality of sensitive info including but not limited to the patients, staff and the health system.
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient.
• Actively supports hospital goals and imperatives and lives the CARES values at all times.
• Demonstrates thorough understanding of MRI safety regulations for established MRI protocols.

Complexity of Duties:

• Operates independently and/or with other Associates in the provision of MRI exams to patients within the health care system.
• Utilizes critical thinking skills as necessary to prioritize patient care based on acuity.
• Utilizes creativity and previous clinical knowledge to maximize diagnostic information.
• Utilizes resourcefulness to maximize productivity of time and equipment.
• On-Call Required

Requirements

Qualifications:

• A.A.S. degree required
• Current, valid AART, NMTCB or RDMS required.
• Demonstrated ability to perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging independently required.
• Basic CPR training required or to be completed within three months of hire.
• MRI Registry within 1 year of hire.
• B.S. degree preferred.

Pay Range:$33.50 - $43.00
