Qualifications

  • Current, valid AART, NMTCB, or RDMS certification required.

Schedule: Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday 12-hour shifts.

Pay Range: $33.50-$43.00, based on experience.

Main Function
  • Provides high-quality test results with minimal supervision.
  • Coordinates services within & outside Thompson Health to meet and exceed customer needs.
  • Supports the mission, goals, and objectives of UR Medicine Thompson Health.
Required Job Specific Competencies

  • Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with MRI and DI staff.
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Provides age-appropriate care based on patient age.
  • Supports hospital goals and lives the CARES values.
  • Understands MRI safety regulations and protocols.
Complexity Of Duties
  • Operates independently or with team members for MRI exams.
  • Uses critical thinking to prioritize patient care based on acuity.
  • Maximizes diagnostic information using clinical knowledge and creativity.
  • Maximizes productivity of time and equipment.
  • On-Call required.
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and flexibly.
  • Collaborative relationship skills with MRI and DI staff.
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive info.
  • Provides age-appropriate patient care.
  • Supports hospital goals and CARES values.
  • Knowledge of MRI safety and protocols.
Qualifications
  • A.A.S. degree required.
  • Current, valid AART, NMTCB, or RDMS certification required.
  • Ability to perform MRI independently required.
  • Basic CPR training required or to be completed within three months of hire.
  • MRI Registry within 1 year of hire.
  • B.S. degree preferred.

Pay Range: $33.50 - $43.00

Starting Rate: Based on experience
