We are hiring motivated MRI Techs eager to advance their careers in Radiology at a leading employer in Austin, TX.

Job Summary

Performs MRI examinations to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation or intervention by a licensed practitioner. Ensures patient safety and comfort, reviews images for quality diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain protocols as directed by the MRI Coordinator/Lead.
• Assist with protocol development for clinical and research purposes.
• Perform daily checks and quality control on MRI scanners per ACR, TDSHS, and other credentialing standards.
• Maintain a safe MRI environment, including proper screening and safety guidelines adherence.
• Provide magnetic field and hearing protection, understand emergency quench procedures.
• Perform quality assurance and research implant information as needed.
• Perform MRI procedures with proper patient positioning, protocol selection, and post-processing.
• Identify patients, review medical history, and confirm physician orders.
• Ensure images are transmitted correctly to PACS and complete paperwork accurately.
• Maintain courteous behavior, keep work area tidy, and manage supplies.
• Perform other related duties as needed.

Pay and Benefits

Hourly pay range: $30.00 - $45.00. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, life insurance, disability, HSA, transportation, EAP, and PTO.

Workplace

This is a fully onsite position in Austin, TX.
