Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 13-week evening-shift assignment. Requires 1+ year MRI experience and ARRT(R) certification. MO or Compact license in hand at time of consideration; BLS and MRI certification required.

The role operates in a 24/7 MRI department with 5x8 hour evening shifts (1:00 PM to 9:30 PM) and includes call/holiday rotation. Candidates outside a 50-mile radius are preferred; travel housing and reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience.
• ARRT(R) certification, BLS, and MRI certification required.
• MO or Compact license in hand at time of consideration.
• Cerner charting experience preferred but not required.
• Skilled in contrast media preparation/administration, radiation safety, peripheral IV starts, and isolation PPE.

Responsibilities

• MRI procedures across abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and MSK imaging.
• Operate in a 24/7 MRI department.
• Evening shift 1:00 PM–9:30 PM, 5x8 hours.
• Call and holiday rotation, including 50% of holidays on contract.
• Mandatory floating may be required per facility policy.
• Work with PACS and Siemens MRI equipment.

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 13-week evening-shift assignment requiring 1+ year of MRI experience and ARRT(R) certification.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required
• ARRT(R) certification, BLS, and MRI certification required
• MO or Compact license required in hand at time of consideration
• License required if applicable
• Cerner charting experience preferred but not required
• Skilled in contrast media preparation/administration, radiation safety, peripheral IV starts, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Must be able to ambulate, reach, and move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs
• Must be able to work full shift, assigned weekends, and take call as needed

Responsibilities

• MRI Tech department within a health care facility operating 24/7
• Adult acute care and outpatient patient populations
• Evening shift, 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM
• Call and holiday rotation required, including at least 50% of holidays on contract
• Mandatory floating may be required per facility policy
• Performs MRI studies including abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging
• Uses PACS and Siemens MRI equipment
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
• Work environment includes routine contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses
• Shifts may include holidays and inclement weather conditions
• Maximum of 10 days RTO allowed, with none available during the first week due to orientation
