Job summary

VCU Health in Richmond, VA, seeks an MRI Technologist for the Weekend Incentive Program (Fri-Sun, 7AM-7:30PM). You will perform MRI procedures using MRI scanners and power injectors, ensuring patient safety and high-quality images. The role requires ARRT/NMTCB/ARMRIT certification within 90 days and BLS.

Offers include a $20,000 sign-on bonus for offers accepted by August 31, 2026. EEO employer/Protected Veteran.

Qualifications

• Certification required within first 90 days of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with MRI imaging preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures with attention to safety and protocol.
• Administer contrast agents and assess for reactions.
• Evaluate lab values prior to contrast administration where applicable.
• Communicate clearly with patients and families using age-appropriate language.
• Document deviations and ensure accurate post-processing and image transfer.
• Support timely order completion, charge entry, and PACS QA.
