Job summary

Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, VA, is seeking an MRI Technologist for a full-time, evening/swing shift. The role involves performing MRI examinations, ensuring safety, and documenting results in the patient records.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 24 month radiologic technology program (Required).
• Completion of MRI school/certificate program (Preferred).
• Six months MR experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general MRI examinations and ensure safety in the MRI area.
• Explain procedures to patients and complete departmental documentation.
• Maintain supplies and review patient records for accuracy.
• Coordinate with physicians and staff to deliver quality imaging per protocol.
