Sentara Careplex Hospital in Hampton, VA is hiring an MRI Technologist for a full-time Evening/Swing shift. A 20K sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

The role includes performing MRI exams, ensuring safety within the MRI area, and maintaining accurate departmental documentation. Requirements include graduation from a 24-month radiologic technology program and ARRT/MR certifications; six months MR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 24-month radiologic technology program (Required).
• MRI school/certificate program completion (Preferred).
• Six months MR experience or completion of MR didactic program (Strongly Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Performs general MRI examinations and maintains safety of MRI area.
• Explains procedures to patients and completes departmental documentation.
• Administers MRI contrast per protocol and reviews patient safety screening.
