Job summary

MercyOne Health System in Dubuque, IA, is seeking an MRI Technologist for a part-time, 12-hour day shift. Under limited supervision, you will perform magnetic resonance exams and related procedures, following radiologist direction and hospital protocols.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited 2 year Imaging Technology program
• ARRT or ARMRIT certification required
• Prior MR experience preferred and MR credential preferred
• Maintains active registry status
• Maintains Basic Life Support qualification

Responsibilities

• Perform magnetic resonance exams under limited supervision and according to radiologist direction
• Ensure high-quality images and patient safety throughout MRI procedures
• Maintain registration and regulatory compliance for MR operations

Schedule

• Weekend package: Saturday & Sunday
• 50 out of 52 weekends a year
• 6:00am - 6:30pm

General Requirements

Must have relevant credentials as defined below:

• Successful completion of an accredited 2 year Imaging Technology program
• ARRT or ARMRIT certified
• Previous MR experience preferred and MR credential (ARRT or AMRIT) preferred
• Maintains active registry status
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire
• Maintains Basic Life Support qualification
