Job summary

MercyOne Dubuque is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance exams under the supervision of the radiologist. The role supports the hospital's cardiology and imaging services in a Magnet-designated health system that emphasizes quality patient care and professional development.

Ideal candidates have completed an accredited Imaging Technology program with ARRT/ARMRIT credentials and active registry status, plus BLS and mandatory reporter training.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited 2 year Imaging Technology program.
• ARRT or ARMRIT certified.
• MR experience preferred and MR credential (ARRT or AMRIT) preferred.
• Maintains active registry status.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.
• Maintains Basic Life Support qualification.

Responsibilities

• Perform magnetic resonance exams and procedures under the medical direction of the radiologist in a highly technical and professional manner.
