Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures under the supervision of the Lead MRI Technologist. You will ensure patient safety and comfort while operating MRI equipment and assisting physicians with diagnostic imaging.

The position requires ARRT or ARMRIT certification (MRI Radiologic Technology) and at least one year of MRI experience; Siemens MRI familiarity is preferred. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 0 - Under supervision of the Lead MRI Technologist, and following established policies and procedures, performs a variety of duties related to MRI. Performs MRI procedures in order to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patient’s illnesses and injury, is responsible for the care and safety of patients undergoing MRI procedures and use of MRI equipment.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience

• Minimum one year of experience in MRI Technology
• Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, and/or willingness to continue formal education in this category within a designated time period
• Will require 1-3 months of orientation or the equivalent with on-the-job training based on existing skill-set

Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience

• Hands on experience with Siemens MRI equipment
• Synapse/PACS experience

Educational Requirements

• ARRT or ARMRIT certification in Radiologic Technology and MRI Technology; successful completion of an intravenous certification class approved by this institution, successfully accomplished within the 12 week probationary period

License/Certification

• ARRT or ARMRIT certification in Radiologic Technology and MRI Technology required.

Salary Range

• $40.39-$62.82

The pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set, and education. For annual salaries this is based on full-time employment.
