Job summary

Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA seeks an experienced MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures under supervision. You will care for patients and operate MRI equipment, ensuring safety and quality in imaging studies.

Requirements include ARRT or ARMRIT MRI certification and at least one year of MRI experience, plus on-the-job training as needed. Siemens MRI familiarity and Synapse/PACS experience are preferred. Flexible Sundays may apply.

Job description

Scheduled Weekly Hours

10 - Every other Sunday 10am-8pm (can be flexible around hours) Under supervision of the Lead MRI Technologist, and following established policies and procedures, performs a variety of duties related to MRI.

Job Duties

Performs MRI procedures in order to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patient’s illnesses and injury, is responsible for the care and safety of patients undergoing MRI procedures and use of MRI equipment.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience

• Minimum one year of experience in MRI Technology
• Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, and/or willingness to continue formal education in this category within a designated time period
• Will require 1-3 months of orientation or the equivalent with on-the-job training based on existing skill-set

Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience

• Hands on experience with Siemens MRI equipment
• Synapse/PACS experience

Educational Requirements

• ARRT or ARMRIT certification in Radiologic Technology and MRI Technology; successful completion of an intravenous certification class approved by this institution, successfully accomplished within the 12 week probationary period

License/Certification

• ARRT or ARMRIT certification in Radiologic Technology and MRI Technology required.

Salary Range

• $40.39-$62.82
