Sturdy Memorial Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures under supervision and support physicians in diagnosis. You will ensure patient safety, comfort, and precise image quality while following established policies and procedures.

The role requires ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology and MRI Technology, with ongoing education in cross-sectional anatomy and related areas. On-the-job orientation and training ensure skill alignment with the department needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in MRI Technology.
• Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy or willingness to learn.
• 1–3 month orientation/on-the-job training based on existing skill-set.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 32 - Under supervision of the Lead MRI Technologist, and following established policies and procedures, performs a variety of duties related to MRI. Performs MRI procedures in order to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patient’s illnesses and injury, is responsible for the care and safety of patients undergoing MRI procedures and use of MRI equipment.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience

Minimum one year of experience in MRI Technology Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills Working knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, and/or willingness to continue formal education in this category within a designated time period Will require 1-3 months of orientation or the equivalent with on-the-job training based on existing skill-set

Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience

Hands on experience with Siemens MRI equipment Synapse/PACS experience

Educational Requirements

Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology and MRI Technology; successful completion of an intravenous certification class approved by this institution, successfully accomplished within the 12 week probationary period

License/Certification

ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology and MRI Technology required.

Salary

• Salary Range: $40.39-$62.82
• Salary Range Details The pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set, and education. This is not inclusive of the value Sturdy Health’s benefits package (if applicable), which includes among other benefits, healthcare/dental/vision and retirement. For annual salaries this is based on full-time employment.
