Job summary

FMOL Health is seeking an MRI Tech 1 to prepare patients for Magnetic Resonance examinations and to assist under supervision in producing MR images that aid diagnosis. The role emphasizes safety, patient screening for ferrous materials and contrast media history, and adherence to imaging protocols.

Responsibilities include providing pre- and post-education to patients and families, and reporting to the Manager or Supervisor. ARMRIT/ARRT-R licensure and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) program or Radiologic Technology program.
• ARMRIT or ARRT-R certification and LSRT license (or current temporary license).
• Basic Life Support (BLS-HCP) certification.

Responsibilities

• Arrange patients for MRI examinations and assist under supervision.
• Monitor safety of patient and personnel before entering magnetic area.
• Screen patients for ferrous materials, prior contrast media history, and for safe administration of contrast media.

Education

Graduate of an accredited MRI program or Radiologic Technology program
