Job summary

FMOL Health is seeking an MRI Tech 1 to assist with Magnetic Resonance examinations. The role includes patient preparation, adhering to safety protocols, and providing patient education under supervision. The MRI tech ensures safe operation of imaging equipment and reports to the Manager or Supervisor.

Under supervision, you will perform screening, follow department protocols, and assist physicians with various MRI procedures, maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Imaging program (MRI or Radiologic Technology).
• Licensure/ Certifications: ARMRIT or ARRT-R; LSRT license (or temporary).
• BLS-HCP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Clinical tasks and ensuring safety in the MRI suite.
• Screen patients for ferrous materials and contrast safety per protocols.
• Follow imaging protocols and department policies for safe operation of equipment.
• Provide pre- and post-education to patients and families.
