Job summary

St Luke's MRI team offers a four‑day workweek with hours from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and flexible scheduling to support work‑life balance. On‑call backup is paid about once per week or less.

Weekend rotation occurs every 8 weeks; a holiday rotation is typically one holiday per year. We operate a five-scanner MRI environment (GE and Siemens) with a broad range of exams, including Cardiac, Functional, Neuro, Body, MSK and Specialty procedures.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of cross sectional anatomy and MRI safety.
• Competent in IV and venipuncture where required.
• Excellent communication and patient service skills.

Responsibilities

• Operates MR equipment to perform diagnostic procedures (MSK, neuro, body, etc.).
• Obtains patient history and ensures exam accuracy per physician orders.
• Positions patient and adjusts scanning factors for quality images.
• Post-processes images and labels with patient identifiers and study data.
• Maintains records in the radiology system and documents billing codes.
• Identifies equipment issues and performs QA and calibration tasks.
